Features
One manager's core complaint: "I know I replied there recently — I just can't find the thread." whatsnext fixes that.
Describe it in plain words — "the thread where Priya pushed back on the Q3 budget" — and get ranked threads with deep links, powered by on-device semantic search.
Your auto-maintained working set, split into On my plate and Everything else — with waiting on you badges and one-line summaries.
Paste a Slack link → neutral summary, each party's position, open questions, and 3 ready-to-send reply drafts. Thread memory shapes future recaps.
Syncs on launch, on window focus, and every 5 minutes while open — with a live countdown to the next auto-sync and a manual Sync now anytime.
1/2/3/4 switch views, j/k navigate, / search, ? shortcuts. Dark & light themes included.
Your messages and search index live locally on your Mac. Recaps go only to the model endpoint you configure.
Privacy by design
whatsnext syncs your Slack history onto your Mac and builds its search index locally — there is no whatsnext cloud. When you ask for a recap, only that specific thread is sent to the Anthropic-compatible LLM endpoint you choose (Kimi, or any compatible API), with your own API key.

Setup
Grab the DMG and drag whatsnext into Applications.
Create an app at api.slack.com/apps with user token scopes, then copy your xoxp-… token.

Download whatsnext and let your working set maintain itself.
